WHO WE ARE
North Channel Literacy Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping our communities reach their learning goals. NCLC is funded in part by the Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario through the Canada-Ontario Job Fund Agreement, and donors from our communities.
We offer free programs in literacy and basic skills (LSB), academic upgrading, job readiness, and digital learning. If you are 19 years or older, live in one of the communities we serve, and want help to achieve your learning goals, then contact us today!

NCLC provides free education programs to learners ages 19 and over. We offer one-on-one instruction that can help:

The transformative learning process at NCLC is designed to help our students grow both in and out of the classroom. Each day is filled with opportunities to experience new educational and social situations to further development. Our instructors create a safe and open setting, where they can guide students in exploring the world around them.
